This Shipping Policy explains how Lords Sports ("we", "our", "us") handles dispatch, domestic shipping within India, and international shipping for B2B orders.
Lords Sports manufactures mixed martial arts, karate, boxing, and combat sports equipment for distributors, retailers, academies, private label buyers, and international brands. Shipping terms may vary depending on order size, destination, product type, customization, and the commercial terms agreed with the buyer.
Overview
Shipping arrangements are confirmed separately for each enquiry, quotation, purchase order, or invoice. Any delivery timeline shared before order confirmation is an estimate and may depend on production lead time, payment status, packaging requirements, logistics availability, and destination-specific requirements.
For bulk orders, custom products, private label goods, and export consignments, dispatch will usually take place only after final specifications, artwork approvals, packaging details, payment terms, and shipping documents are confirmed.
Order Processing
Processing time includes order confirmation, production planning, manufacturing, quality checks, packing, documentation, and handover to the selected courier, transporter, freight forwarder, or buyer nominated logistics partner.
Processing timelines vary by product category and order volume. Sample orders, repeat orders, and ready stock items may dispatch faster than custom manufacturing orders requiring logo placement, private labeling, special sizing, packaging, or compliance documentation.
Domestic Shipping
For buyers within India, we may ship through courier services, surface transport, parcel services, cargo operators, or buyer nominated transporters depending on shipment size and destination.
Domestic freight charges, GST, insurance, packing charges, handling charges, and delivery terms will be communicated as part of the quotation, invoice, or order confirmation. Delivery to remote, restricted, or non-serviceable locations may require alternate arrangements or additional charges.
International Shipping
We support international shipping for export orders, including shipments by air courier, air cargo, sea freight, or buyer nominated freight forwarders. The suitable method depends on order value, carton volume, gross weight, urgency, destination country, and import requirements.
International shipping estimates are provided on request and may change due to carrier rates, fuel surcharges, route availability, customs procedures, documentation requirements, and destination charges. Final export dispatch is subject to confirmed payment, completed documentation, and applicable regulatory requirements.
Freight and Incoterms
Freight responsibility and risk transfer will depend on the agreed commercial terms. Orders may be handled on terms such as ex-works, FOB, CIF, courier delivery, or other mutually agreed arrangements. The applicable term should be confirmed in the quotation, invoice, or written order communication.
Where the buyer arranges pickup through their own courier, cargo agent, or freight forwarder, the buyer is responsible for sharing correct pickup details, shipping marks, destination information, and any required forwarding instructions.
Customs and Duties
For international shipments, import duties, customs clearance fees, destination taxes, brokerage charges, port charges, storage charges, inspection fees, and local delivery charges may apply in the destination country.
Unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing, the buyer is responsible for destination country import compliance, customs clearance, duties, taxes, and any documents or permits required to import combat sports equipment, uniforms, protective gear, or related goods.
Packaging
We pack products using suitable cartons, inner packaging, labels, and shipment markings based on product type and order requirements. Custom packaging, private label packaging, barcode labels, hang tags, carton marks, palletization, or special export packing may be available at additional cost.
Buyers should confirm any special packing instructions before production or final packing begins. Changes requested after packing may affect dispatch timelines and additional charges may apply.
Delays
Shipping and delivery timelines are estimates. Delays may occur due to production changes, buyer approval delays, payment delays, carrier capacity, customs inspections, port congestion, weather, strikes, regulatory checks, holidays, force majeure events, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.
We will make reasonable efforts to communicate known dispatch or logistics delays, but Lords Sports is not responsible for indirect losses, missed resale windows, or consequential business losses caused by shipping delays.
Damage or Shortage
Buyers should inspect shipments promptly upon receipt. Any visible carton damage, shortage, missing package, or suspected transit issue should be reported to the carrier and to Lords Sports as soon as possible, along with photographs, shipment details, and receiving notes.
Claims for transit damage, loss, or shortage may depend on carrier rules, insurance coverage, delivery terms, and the condition of the received shipment. We may request supporting evidence before reviewing any claim.
